Aligners handle a lot of what braces handle. Crowding, gaps, teeth that have drifted over the years.
What decides it is your bite, and what's going on under the gum where you can't see it. That takes a scan, not a guess.
Thirty minutes and we'll know. Then we tell you straight.

What you walk out with
A proper look at your teeth, gums and bite
Not just the teeth at the front. What's underneath decides whether aligners will work at all.
A 3D scan of your teeth
No trays of goop. The scan becomes the map your treatment gets planned from.
A straight answer
Whether aligners will work for your teeth. And if they won't, what will.
A timeline for your teeth
Yours, not an average off a page.
A written quote
One number, covering the whole treatment, before you agree to anything.
Your payment options worked out
So you know what it looks like month to month, not just as a total.
Your health fund checked
We look up what you're entitled to and lodge the claim for you.
You'll leave knowing exactly where you stand.

What wearing them is like
They're in most of the time
Twenty to twenty-two hours a day. Out to eat, out to brush, straight back in.
You eat normally
Take them out and eat whatever you like. That's the bit people miss most about braces.
A new tray feels tight for a couple of days
That's the tray working. It settles.
You'll see us every six to eight weeks
So we can check your teeth are tracking, and step in early if they aren't.
Keep them in the case
Not in a napkin. The bin at a cafe, or the dog, is where most lost aligners end up.
What it costs
It depends how far your teeth have to travel. Some people need twelve trays. Some need forty.
We look at your teeth first, then give you a written quote covering the whole treatment, before you agree to anything.
Payment plans
You can spread the cost rather than pay it in one hit. We'll go through the options that apply to your quote.
Health funds
Depending on your cover, part of it may come back. We'll check what you're entitled to and lodge the claim for you.

Questions we get asked
Do clear aligners actually work?
For the right case, yes. They've been around since the late nineties and they're a well-established way of moving teeth. They're not a replacement for braces, they're an alternative that suits a lot of cases and not all of them. Which one yours is depends on your teeth.
Why is the consult free?
Two reasons. Aligners don't work for everybody, and we'd rather find that out before you've spent anything. And you should get a look at us before you commit to months of treatment. If it's not a fit either way, you'll know at the end of one appointment.
Who would I be seeing?
One of three dentists. Dr Vilas Menon, who has been doing clear aligner treatment since 2007, Dr Shilpa Datta since 2019, or Dr Divia Heng since 2021. There are seven dentists in the practice and they talk to each other, so if your case needs another opinion it gets one.
How long does it take?
It depends how far your teeth have to move, and whether other teeth are in the way. Some cases are quick, others take a good while longer. Once we've looked we'll give you an estimate for your case rather than an average off a website.
How long do I wear them each day?
Twenty to twenty-two hours. Out to eat, out to brush, back in. You change to a new set every week or two, and you'll see us every six to eight weeks so we can check you're on track. The rest is down to you, because aligners only move teeth while they're in your mouth.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your teeth, so we won't guess at it here. Some people need twelve trays, some need forty. At your consult we look first, then give you a written quote covering the whole treatment before you agree to anything.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes. You can spread the cost rather than pay it in one hit, and we'll go through the options that apply to your quote. If you're in a health fund we'll check what you're entitled to and lodge the claim for you.
Does it hurt?
A new tray feels tight for the first few days, and the first one is the one you notice most. That's the tray doing its job and it settles. Give yourself an extra ten minutes in the morning for the first couple of weeks and you'll barely think about it after that.
What if something goes wrong?
There isn't much that can. The two common ones are losing a tray, which is why we give you a case, and an attachment coming off, which we replace at your next visit. If you're worried about anything between appointments, ring us.
You've probably thought about this before.
Most people who sit in our chair have wanted straighter teeth for years. Something got in the way. Usually the thought of a mouth full of metal, or not knowing what it would cost, or life just being busy.
Thirty minutes will tell you whether it's worth doing.
